MY PASSIONS

We're going to do this in bulk.
I do love colors, animals, music, travelling, nature and of course, chocolate! Attending a music or a comedy show are some of my absolute favorite things to do. By the way, Dave Grohl has been the man of my life since I was 15 ❤️

You can meet me at weird little basement shows, in a big American stadium or at an European open-air festival. I often use the excuse of attending a show to travel somewhere new. That’s just the best.

As I said, I love starting new projects and am always looking forward to learning new things. That's why another of my passions is coffee. You know, to keep the rhythm!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

By accident.
One day, I decided it was about time to learn watercolor. 3 months later I had to register my business. This was followed by my social media accounts, a website, an ETSY store, an Amazon store, a dozen of distributors, and the rest is history ! Soooo ... Yup ! I have a business by accident!
Because my day job is as an ovarian cancer research professional.

I know.

But the response was so beautiful and my community so sweet that I decided to give this beautiful project a chance.  It was in 2017.
If you had told me what was awaiting, I would have laughed out loud.

HOW EVERYTHING EVOLVED

Quickly.
Not long after I started to sell my cards, stationery and prints I found myself shipping worldwide! Including Australia and many European countries! To this date, my watercolor paintings have traveled to over 50 states and provinces in North America. Crazy shit! 

Oh and in Québec, I ended up making myself known for my collaborations and partnership with local businesses, illustrating their products with my seamless watercolor designs. From women fashion to phone cases, kids clothing to accessories... Such a trippy and stimulating journey !

How can you not be grateful to experience this 💙

FINALLY, WATERCOLOR CLASSES

Or thanks to the pandemic.
The pandemic got the better of my favorite things to do! No more show, no more travel, but I quickly took the opportunity to bring my business to a whole another level ! I’ve been asked so many times to give watercolor classes that I had to do it sooner or later. I had to.

Obviously, given the time we live in, I went all in with the online classes.
And my main priority was to make them available and accessible to EVERYONE, especially beginners who suddenly had a lot more time at home.

I was thinking of the kids who suddenly found themselves full-time at home, to the mothers who suddenly found themselves with the kids full-time at home 😅, to the women who give their all at work and who want to unwind when comes the evening.  I also thought of grannies, who would love to share an activity with their grand kids!

E-VE-RY-ONE.

My mission became very clear : I wanted to create a creative exit to a daily life that has become really weird and harsh for everyone. I wanted to put some freaking colors and happiness in this pandemic! And make ordinary people proud of their new found artistic side.

And you know what? Thanks to my followers, I think we've been doing just that for the past 2 years! 😍 The first French watercolor classes were launched in March 2020 and I keep on launching new classes for all those who have discovered a new passion!

The pandemic has really impacted my business, in a completely positive way.

My offer stands out from all those that exists by its modern projects that defy the established rules. It offers vibrant and fun subjects, a no-stress approach and classes that can be taken at any time, by anyone.

I am so, so proud of it that I had to bring this offer to the english speaking market. So here we are!
And I can't wait to see what’s awaiting!

GIVING BACK

To the animals.
One of the greatest achievements that this adventure has allowed me to experience is to give back to animals by supporting a sanctuary for exotic animals called Animal Tracks Inc. Since 2019, part of my profit have been donated to the shelter for the care of their animals that I love so much. Really, they are a-do-rable. From wolves hybrid, to monkeys (Monkeyyyyyys !!), to foxes, to serval cat, their mission is to give them a forever home and they do it perfectly ! 

This cause speaks to me, a lot, and it’s well over US $5,000 that were donated since 2019.

With the Pop Palette as a first of many Pop Pigments watercolor supplies, I won’t stop here & I pledge to make a sustained effort to always fill your eyes and your heart with joyful colors.
